What does a trademark registration?

For the registration of a trademark in the Trademark Register, an (official) registration fee is paid. The protection of a trademark in Germany at the German Patent and Trademark Office (DPMA) costs EUR 300 and includes the fee for three classes of goods or services. The protection of a trademark can be renewed for 10 years and valid indefinitely. In other words, cost Trademark Protection in Germany for 30 EUR per year.
However, additional costs to come, depending on how many different products or services are to be protected. Shall require the DPMA for each additional class from the 4th Class, an additional class fee of 100 EUR.
